About Me

I’m a trainee journalist from Cardiff.

The Opening Fatsman was originally a blog about cricket, my first love.

But I recently developed an obsession with ice hockey, in particular the Cardiff Devils, and I now post links and opinion on British ice hockey too.

I write for Capture Cardiff, a hyper-local website run by Cardiff Journalism School. I mostly do match reports and interviews from Devils games and report on local news from Butetown and Cardiff Bay.
